Efficiency Arizona rebates, installed by Everest

Efficiency Arizona pays 50% to 100% of the product cost for qualifying heat pumps, water heaters and insulation, up to $14,000 per household. Everest helps you apply and installs the work. We’ll walk you through the application, step by step.

Everest helps you apply. Then we do the work.

We help you fill out the application

Income proof, utility bills, signatures. We help you gather what you need and go through each section with you. Applications lock once you submit, so we help you get it right the first time.

We check what qualifies first

Some upgrades don’t qualify, like replacing a gas system. We look at your current equipment so you apply for the rebates you can actually use.

We install it for you

Heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, insulation and air sealing, installed by Everest’s local Arizona team.

Do you qualify?

Many Arizona homeowners qualify. You likely do if:

  • You own your home.
  • Your household income is at or below 150% of the area median income (AMI) for your county and household size. See the income limits.
  • Or someone in your household is enrolled in SNAP, AHCCCS (Medicaid), LIHEAP, SSI, Lifeline, free school lunch, Head Start, public housing or another qualifying program. That qualifies you automatically.

Two ways to use your rebate

Have a contractor install it

Best for heat pumps, water heaters and insulation. You apply, the program approves you, and a qualified contractor installs the work. The program pays its share directly to the contractor.

Buy it at a store

Best for a heat pump water heater, heat pump dryer or electric cooking appliance you buy yourself. Once you’re approved, you get a coupon by email to use at a participating retailer like Lowe’s. You must be approved before you buy, and installation isn’t included.

Using a retail coupon for a heat pump water heater? Everest can remove your old one and install the new one.

What to expect

The online application takes about 10 to 15 minutes when your documents are ready. We can go through it with you.

  1. 1Answer a few quick questions: your address, home type and household size.
  2. 2Create your account and activate it from the email the program sends.
  3. 3Upload proof of identity, residency and home ownership.
  4. 4Add your income, or proof that someone in your home is enrolled in a qualifying program.
  5. 5Add your utility account numbers or recent bills.
  6. 6Choose your rebates and sign the agreement.
  7. 7Review everything and submit. Applications lock once submitted.

After you apply

A case manager follows up with you, and the program confirms your eligibility. For contractor projects, the program then reviews your home, a qualified contractor completes the work, and a final inspection follows.

Have these ready

  • Photo ID
  • Proof that you live in and own the home
  • Income proof (the last 30 days, or last year’s 1040 or W-2), or proof of enrollment in a qualifying program
  • Recent utility bills or account numbers

Tell us about your home. We’ll check which rebates fit, help you apply, and install the work once you’re approved.
